A&M Corner Contributors

Bill Bernardi

Our resident trombone-playing musician, a fellow Herb Alpert admirer, and jazz enthusiast, Bill (aka Captain Bacardi) is on hand to answer music-oriented questions in our Forum, and features some promotional stills of A&M artists in our Gallery from his collection. He's also our resident historian, and host of the A&M Corner Birthday List. The Cap'n doesn't take kindly to trombone/unemployment jokes, and tends to "go postal," which is understandable given his day job as a mail carrier!

Mike Blakesley

One of our big Sergio Mendes fans, Mike will be assisting with the update of our Brasil '66 discography, and moderates our Brasil '66/Brazilian forum. He's also one of our watchdogs for new and upcoming releases, working on the retail side of the music business. Located in Forsyth, Montana, Mike is the owner of the historic Roxy Theater, and is also our inside source for the latest happenings in the movie industry. Mike invites all visitors to Montana to pay a visit to the Roxy, where movie and popcorn prices are still on the "believable" side of the scale.

James Brent ("LP Jim")

If anyone has an obscure A&M LP or 45-RPM single, LP Jim is bound to own it. His A&M collection is filed numerically, and as far as we know, there isn't much that he DOESN'T have! He and Bill Gowdy, with their numerically-inclined collecting habits, are two of the best sources we have to help A&M completists fill in the holes in their collection.

Bill Gowdy

Our resident expert in the A&M subsidiary label IRS Records, which was a new wave/punk/alternative rock label run by Miles Copeland. Mr. Bill's IRS Corner is the IRS Records companion to A&M Corner, featuring in-depth information about the label, the bands and the artists that made it a legend. He also collected a lot of classic A&M vinyl...and when the punk/new wave scene started to happen, he saw a natural progression from his A&M collection to IRS. Mr. Bill does not appreciate Village People jokes, lest we all break into a few bars of "In The Navy." Although it's appropriate, given that it's our Navy where he spends his days!

Randy Kosht

Randy was the author of the A&M fan newsletter A&Mania, and is also an extensive A&M collector as well as one of our resident fact-checkers. Watch for his informative posts in our A&M Corner Forum.

Harry Neyhart

Curator of our upcoming Carpenters discography, and one of our many Lani Hall admirers. He's one of our many faithful eBay watchers, and alerts us to anything A&M related of interest. Harry resides in the Philadephia area and spends his days at a career in the radio industry, and often helps provide Billboard or other factual chart data to our posts in the Forum.

Steve Sidoruk

Another large collector of A&M recordings and memorabilia (with an emphasis on Herb Alpert/Tijuana Brass and Julius Wechter/Baja Marimba Band), Steve has contributed a lot of the discography information to the site, and has also been one of our resident fact checkers, since day one. Steve also runs the A&M Fan Network. Without Steve's help, A&M Corner never would have grown out of infancy!

Neil Rudish

The founder, chief architect, and janitor-in-chief of A&M Corner. Way back in 1995, A&M Corner began life as Rudy's Latin Corner, which hosted a few related music articles and reviews. Once the website grew and moved onto different servers, a couple of discographies were posted online, and the site grew in leaps and bounds from there. Today, A&M Corner features a growing list of discographies, an online photo gallery and the internet's most popular A&M Records discussion forum, as well as a handful of "sister" sites that have spun off on their own. Without help from the contributors listed above, he'd be completely lost and wandering the streets!

(Note: our contributors are "regulars" at A&M Corner, and you can see mugshots of some of the suspects in our Rogues Gallery If they look vaguely familiar, you may have visited the post office recently...)
